Demand of paper wood declines The concentration processes in the paper industry, better production methods, import of cheep low-cost wood fibre as well as a higher rate of recycling paper replaced the native paper wood step by step; there is no change noticeable. Forest work is hardly profitable The obvious smaller market for wood compromises the extensive silviculture and therefore stabile forests. The declining wood price degrades the income of forest services an forest owners. Profitable forestry The quality requirements for woodchips are less in comparison to paper wood. Nevertheless paper wood is an interesting assortment to be burned in the biomass plant. |
